Nestled in the bustling marketplace on 9th avenue south, Flowers on 9th is a neighbourhood mainstay. Part of its charm is the cozy nook it sits in — a welcoming and inviting boutique neighbourhood residents, and the greater community beyond have come to rely on for providing fresh, long-lasting flowers and creative designs with many elements of flowers, foliage and fillers.

The space has been home to a flower boutique since Lorna's Flowers opened its doors November 19, 1953. Through the years it changed hands and names until Darcy bought the boutique after the onset of the 21st Century and transformed it into Flowers on 9th — a shop that stays ahead of trends and brings creative designs to the forefront in the city. The current owner, Sharon, bought Flowers on 9th in November 2015 and has carried on in the same tradition.

There is an awe of flowers evident in the shop and a respect to be graced to work in an industry where clients send an expression of love, thanks, sorrow or well-wishes. Helping meet that expression to create a memory of thoughtfulness for those who walk through the doors, pick up the phone or order online to send flowers in Lethbridge is a gift. With over 30 years combined design experience, the Fo9 Team readily takes on the challenge from a simple expression or elaborate event to everyday, wedding or sympathy bouquets.

Flowers on 9th has been featured in Canadian Florist Magazine, Lethbridge Living Magazine and has been voted Lethbridge's Best Flower Shop via The Lethbridge Sun Times Best of the Best numerous times. The contemporary boutique focuses on several weekly shipments and methodical flower care to extend flower life, remarkable flower designs and attention to detail.
